LOGOS Winter Solstice Meditation Retreat:
A long weekend of silence, meditation, embodiment and remembrance
There are moments in the year that naturally invite us to turn inward. The Winter Solstice marks the darkest point of the year, the still point before the light begins to return. Just before Christmas, we gather for a long weekend dedicated to silence, deep meditation and embodied presence.
From Friday afternoon until Monday, we step away from the movement and demands of daily life and enter a quieter space, in the middle of the forest. A space in which we can listen more deeply, soften what has become contracted, and remember something essential beneath the many layers of our lives. At the heart of these days lies a simple inquiry:
How can we live from our deepest, divine nature while being fully human and fully part of this world?
Christ Consciousness
Within LOGOS we work with the field of Christ Consciousness.
We do not approach this as a religious concept or a matter of belief. For us, Christ Consciousness points towards a universal quality of consciousness: a way of being rooted in presence, love, truth, compassion and an intimate connection with the divine nature of life itself.
The word Logos traditionally refers to the divine intelligence or creative principle through which life comes into being. It is closely connected to the life and teachings of Yeshua and Mary Magdalene, while at the same time pointing towards a potential within human consciousness that is available to all of us.
Rather than attempting to transcend our humanity, we are interested in allowing this consciousness to become an embodied experience that shapes our everyday lives.
